at work one day this guy asks me , "do want this old ford that was left in my garage? its in the way, just take it "
he says it was left in the garage of a house he bought and the previous owner is long gone.
he can't tell me what it is only that its a Ford, its old and its black.
I follow him home and this is what I find. after I pissed myself I called AAA and had it towed home.

its been inside the garage since 1986, when the original owner stopped driving it.

it started out as a free car but in the end I had to give the guy a few bucks for it but I am not complaining.

its a 6cyl, 2nd black paint job, with torn up red interior. 60K miles, never hit.
    almost no rust.

I dislike 6 cylinder engines too, but the 49 6 put out more horsepower than Henrys flathead V-8. A guy here has a 50 with a 6 and overdrive and gets 20 MPG

    HOLY CRAP!

Are you a religious man? If so can I get the details on how to join your religion or just give me the name of the god you worship?

One of the best looking Fords ever made. Definitely the best near-free one iv seen.

  28. Dude you California people really suck, if that ride was in Florida, it would be a peice of moldy swiss cheese. Very nice and congrats on the "barn find" All cars need a good home and it looks like this one has found it. Old cars have a soul you know!! Just imagine if this thing could talk, it might tell you about the day it came home to a new family or helped a salesman acheive his first paycheck. Sorry about the rants/raives caffeine will do that.

Everybody hated me too when I found my 64' Olds 98 4dr hardtop, had been in a garage on blocks for close to 20 yrs. body was near mint, still had plastic seatcovers. Stole it for a cool grand. That car definetly had a soul, it loved evertime I drove it. Had to sell it to pay for my divorce, oh well at least I've got the shirt on my back.
