I have only lightly wire brushed the one head with a brass brush, no cracks that I can see. will clean the other head the same way and check it out. i'll post more pics later. + shipping to the lower 48. thanks, mike roman (the junkyard pirate) MORE PICS Added $900 +shipping 10/6/17 walked all of Hershey, 2 days (10/4-5) , never saw another pair of these heads. JB Weld high heat to fill in the pits. lots of guys here on the HAMB say it worked great on their heads.
I tried to melt them using my built-in oven at home. I put another alum pan under it to catch the molten alum. the pan melted first. what am I doing wrong?
nobody seems to want them in their present condition, so I am going to try to add some fins. I have cut strips of alum and gonna JB Weld them. i'll let you know how it turns out.
it's workin pretty good. I covered some of the head bolt holes, but there are a lot of them and you probably don't need to use them all.
I can't wait to post pics of these incredible heads. I might just copyrite the design so I can be the exclusive supplier.
