I saw an info flyer regarding this at a local cruise Friday night. Good to see the word being spread. JH
Harrison, It was good seeing you again and yes Guys it was my Gasser that had the flyer on it. As I also have family in a large speed shop here locally and everyone I know is keeping open eyes and ears as we are local to Knoxville. I hope the car gets found while still in one piece. If anyone wants a copy of the flyer that I had posted on my car or the flyer that the Balash's sent to me let me know by email and please title the email "Find Balash's Gasser" so that I will not delete it thinking it is spam. I will be glad to send it over so we can help spread this as much as we can so they can get their gasser back. Scott rabbit@detroithorsepower.com
It is out of control. I saw a to catch a thief type show on TLC (The Learning Channel) and the x-theives were talking about how they like to go to shows and wait for everything to get loaded and hooked up. Then they can get everything all at once. They were at Sturgis looking at a trailer full of custom choppers. I am thinking about buying a Denver boot so I can put it on my own car. Cant sleep at the hotel at night n-e-more.
Guys; With the recent theft of race car /trailer /and tow vehicle, we have decided to have these decals made for trailers. (see attached). The principal thought is to try to combine the two units, truck & trailer, with I D that matches . This is GREAT for guys who use the SAME tow vehicle all the time, but the decal does have room to accommodate two plates numbers. It seems that "most" of the trailers that have been stolen ,do NOT have any sort of graphics on them.. This will help to identify the correct vehicle towing the trailer, as your plate number will appear on it.. It's not fool proof ,or theft proof, but neither are expensive GPS systems. Anything is better than doing nothing . We suggest putting them on the back left hand corner. (1939fiat)
