i havent been around alot this yr....lifes been throwin me and mine, curveball after curveball, and i cant swing for ****! havent touched or even seen my hot rod since a week or so after our car show! personal stuff keeps me from doing things i should be! not drinking like a breeder" was a good start! im realizing rapidly that theres more important things in this world! and 2 of those things are now 8 and 11!!! im very thankful my wife is kind enough to stick it out with a tool like myself and for that i thank her! alot of you have met me, so youll understand! but id like to take this moment to thank someone who just p***ed away last month at 86! my gramps!!! he was a marine and was hit in iwo jima and had to be shipped state side! watched his best friend die right by him that same day! My gramps on my dads side[who p***ed several yrs ago] was also injured in the war! my uncle red who was 2nd wave on normandy, just had his 90th birthday last sat! he remembers everything! anywho....i think im most thankful for those heros and the ones that are still serving at this very moment! without them, we may not be with our familys enjoying this fine day! he really did man! he never talked about the war till my gram died! they were married almost 60 yrs! it took losin her before he could say anything!ive always lived in the country and never had a chance to play with kids that often, but id spend every weekend and summer at there house in Alexandria [pop. 150] ....... best time of my life! they took me everywhere! they went to texas every winter and i couldnt wait for them to get home! i miss my grammas fish [that gramp caught in port isabel] more then anything!

i still only have to 2 kids bart! well, 3 if you count me! thats what my wife says!but no worries bro, you can hand them out to some other kiddos if you know of any! i feel ya Rob! amazing what they lived through! makes us look pretty damn lame!
