Hey Guys, After KKOA in Salina Sarah and I are driving further south for the week before looping back around to Witchita on the thursday night the 2nd. We will be in town for a wedding being held on saturday night so of course i'm going to be walking around in circles friday thinking there has to be better to do then watch the girls go crazy over making sure flowers are hung just right or something. So whats going on? Whats there to see? even better whats there to EAT? thanks in advance timm
lots of kool stuff in old town, fun to walk around. The new casino just south of town, outside of Mulvane, bout 20 miles. Bunch of kool hot rod and kustom shops. Devlins hot rods, just east of down town, Chaotic customs in mulvane. Tons of good places to eat, some fairly high end places at 13th and rock road out east, good burger place the garage bar and grill in old town, plus some really good mexican stuff. One of my favorites is Logans steak house on kellogg and rock road. Wichita is real easy to get around.
Hadn't left town yet. Leaving for Oshkosh tonight and won't be back till Sunday night so I'm going to miss Salina again. I'm going to talk to the Oshkosh folks about changing weekends because this is twice that they have put that silly airshow on the same weekend as Salina.
Bill's charcol grill on the corner of Arkansas and 29th street. Best hamburger in Kansas! Maybe the world. (Get a double with cheese medium rare).
There is a cruize night at Central & West st. on friday & at spangles at Seneca & Pawnee on Sat. The Texas road house on west Kellogg is the best.
No way, been ther once, all the cowboy **** going on, waiters dancing and sing, YUCK can't even visit with your friends. No offence, but just hate that ****!
