The bigger lights suit the old cars they look great. And just think they could be brighter than those shitass european blue lights , see if you can blind maybe just one of their drivers for once. Rob.
WHAT? First thing hotrodders did waaaaaaaay back was to either remove or go to smaller headlights. Remember they did what they could to make their cars go faster!!! Smaller lights and sealed beams were better back then. King Bees were major cool! Anyhow, I like the headlights on the car but I like smaller better. just me
Put me down on the Big lights side, something grew or I miss calculated on my 29 Hi-Boy and my Deuce headlights rubbed on the grille shell, so I ran the small lights.........not a good look. JMHO
Thats what I had, I made shock mount/headlight mounts. everything was good when I mocked it up, after it was painted and put together it was to close and I didn't want to disturb the paint and had a friend that needed the lights, so......its gone now so the other guy liked the small ones.
Go with the big ones. When I first built my coupe, I put a set of King Bee's on it. Later, I replaced them with a set of lights from a 32. It looks SO much better.
Reminds me of a question I asked my father about girl's ummm, "headlights" and he said some have cupcakes with raisins on top and some just have raisins...
I am going to use big 'uns on mine but I think the big ones look better on a fendered car. Six of one, half dozen of the other.....they look fine.
Bigger head lights on these cars look a lot more natural than the newer small head lights. It looks great I would keep them. Rich
