    I ran across some information about the car, Trilacoochee Ford in Green Swamp, Florida offered what was called a High Water Kit, although the dealership didn't offer installation, it was a DYI kit.
    In that era crossing rivers was dangerous and the kit allowed the vehicle to cross the rivers in a safer way. HRP

    Just goes to show the Florida Man meme isn't something that only goes back decades, they've been at it for at least a century!

  4. I almost bought one of these for the total cool factor of it all. They were used to drive through a standing tobacco crop and spray. I didn’t think it would clear the wires once I had it loaded onto a trailer. F35A238F-A76D-4884-8DFA-5BABC03AC8CE.jpeg
