Well there was a guy in Southern Ontario Canada that built a 57 that is a spittin image of this car, right down to the interior, since it at many cruise nights, weither this it the same car or not, I think it was auctioned off a few years ago and I dont remember were it went, but like I mentioned it was as this car looks in the pic...and it would be 100% Ford if it is..He is a Ford man from the get go..

No...That was Barry Pooles old car...it was near identical except it had a red interior
Iwas sold a few back into the U.S
    Ran a 428 CJ and a 4 gear.
Poole used to race CJ big time in the 60's/early 70's....I saw that car in Welland and Newmarket.....and I NEVER forgot it
    Hence..my new 57 project.

The 57s were a great looking ford and look awesome with the wide whites and some lowering, these things come custom from the factory.

I definitly WOULD be surprised................who,in this economy could come up with $250,000 for a ratty old '32 Ford?:rolleyes::D
Just kidding so lighten up. Reality hit home this week when I told a fella I'd have to get $175 for my 2dr....................he was still laughing when he walked off. I'll get the last laugh when he realizes how much I saved by being buried in it. Cheaper than any coffin....................well, maybe not a pine box.................built out of recycled shipping crates.:) Of course any savings might go up in smoke when my wife gets the bill for digging the hole.
Hey!! I just remembered. You said when you got the car it was going to be for your wife (like your the first guy to use that ruse to buy a car;)). So.................does she go with the car?

No ... I am keeping HER no matter what :D
We have been married 36 years and dated 8 years before that

Took me 8 years to talk her into marrying me  )

She does not really like the 3W.
She would have preferred to keep the old 40 Ford business coupe.

We will own another 40 Ford coupe. :)

What he said. I like any mid-'50s sedan done this way: '55 Plymouth/413; '57 Chevy/409; or what have you.

I actully have been trying to buy a 1940 Ford standard businessman coupe. :D

It is a older amatuer restoration that has been off the road for a few years. The engine froze and cracked the block. The owner just parked it and then got deathly ill. He p***ed before he ever got better ... so the coupe has just set.

The widow agreed to sell me the coupe @ at market value  on a Saturday ( bank closed ) and the next day ( Sunday ) her son-in-law complained and wants the coupe. BUT he has no money.

I want the coupe but the son-in-law has the widow all confused and she does not need the $$$ ... so I have been waiting since Thanksgiving 2009.
