@Moriarity This 55 do you have any knowledge of ? I seen in Car that Built America I know some pictures are not Accurate. This 55 caught my eye , Is / was this a Concept 55 Gm Adverti*****t Show car or a Custom done out side of Gm , What year Promoted / shown ? In Gm Vault ? Wheels are unique , & Not typical 55 side marking , Chrome down the side . I all so do not know how to change to main site or Kustom if appropriate then OT .
I have no knowledge of this. Must be an Oldsmobile concept car? The people standing by it do not look real, maybe AI ?
@Moriarity , Was first aired in 2017 , I took pic from Tv , Not a Singal still shot , I enlarged pic it was @ a revealing show , it was movie clip others in back ground around 8 sec long , If some one wants to see debate about I think 30 mints or 1 hr mark I did not Pay attention if 1 or 2 hr episode, Talking about New V8 Chevrolet introduction in 1955
yeah there was alot of wrong in that series History channel did. When they were covering the 265 development in the 50s, they were using 56 Mercury's in the flashbacks. Then if I recall correctly when they got to the 60s and the Delorean and the GTO they were using Oldsmobile's. Same thing with the early years, the all brand new Model A for 28 was a 31 Murray 4 door. So while the meat of what they were talking about might be somewhat accurate, almost all of the corresponding cars they used for reference was wrong.
Ok not 55 Chevy a 55 Olds , side moldings caught my eye when said 55 Chevy & the looks of Aluminum wheels Concept , custom when thinking a 55 Chevy knowing not typical side , The movie clip looks to be Revealing , Trade Promotional show before 1960 By what people cloths ,Not a H-R show wondering what other Mods, what Show & Year shown . According to the Internet there where World fair in Italy 54 & 55 I looked only seen this Clip & picture
the trim starts at the front of the door on the 98 and the back of the door on the 88. It's a really ****py picture, so it's hard to tell what's going on!
Looks like a 1/25th scale promo model with the 1/25th scale plastic people that you could buy from the AutoWorld model car catalog.
