My ever vigilant e-bay searching brother-in-law passed this auction on to me...probably trying to show me that a car can run a Stovebolt AND still be cool!!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6173&item=2483042859&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AEF%3AUS%3A1

Not too shabby...it's got some speed parts on a straight six with a more modern open driveline...sets it off from other drones exhibiting a Failure Of Creativity (small block Chevy!)...might make someone a cool cruiser!!

    (You seein' this 41ratsledrodder????)

Let me guess, you're not a GM six fan ??? [IMG] I just went and got mine and brought it home after having it stored for over a year. Damn, it felt good to skid it around the block. [IMG]

I'm pretty sure Alfster is running a Howard intake with 5 97s. [IMG]

then just wait till i get some stuff done to my 47 Chev, you'll be completely converted then. got the 1x2 in the back seat along with the rebuilds for the W-1s, the chrome air cleaners and other goodies. mine'll be bagged all around and i'm thinkin some skirts might be in the near future. if it sticks around long enough it might even get CHOPPED! a 5 speed and S10 rear are in the very near future.

this one sure is cool though....

  14. Actually....I'd loose the skirts, give it a slight rake and put a hood on it. But hey what do I know, I like Small Block Chevys [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

  15. Rudy...you're 40 is swanky as hell! I really dig the whole sled groove of this 47, though! I'll bet it looks and sounds cool movin' down the road. [IMG]
