Fu*k Rain... Well, that was fun.. Made it to one exit before 465, got off for fuel, found out the race was cancelled, talked about Gas City... Decided the rain was heding that way, so we went the opposite way to Bloomington, Got there, got seats covered, walked the pits, counted 30 cars ready to race, talked to Jon stanbrough for a second, then watched it rain for 30 mins... as soon as it stopped they called it. so, we headed home accross 46. 2 hours of two lane black top in the rain.. Total hours in an open header, fenderless 32 in the rain... 7 Total hours of racing.. 20sec. (me and dad racing our hot rods from a stoplight in the middle of NO WHERE) oh well.. My rear tires p***ed there first test.. Make it to Indy and back without coming apart. JD
That ****s you guys made it down there and then they called it. We definitely have to get all of us together to meet up at a sprint race this summer.
LAWRENCEBURG... Season opener.. I'll keep you all informed.. It will be soon. The track is done. Just waiting for good weather. JD
I adjusted vacation and some business trips hoping the burg would open tonight. Hopefully next week!!! I can't wait!!
