My Hat is off to a fellow member here........ @LOWDUG37
I don't know Doug,Never met or have ever spoken with him.... but months ago, my pal Chuck shot the car and I saw spy shots in raw form.
My jaw just dropped when I saw it.
The car is now in the mags and I was simply taken by the sheer beauty of this Killer 56.
Done so right, stance is perfect and just enough detail using Factory parts..... none of that silly aftermarket platform garbage.... No excessive aftermarket bling or fancy Gee-gaws,
It looks all business and wants to start a fight.

Doug simply nailed it.... and I am a FORD Guy.

    Great stuff Doug.

I'm a Ford guy too but when any make and model presents itself as nice as this '56 Chevy who can help but notice, the car is simple but makes a bold statement.

    Outstanding work. HRP

Funny, first thought I had was that it's a "tri-five" Chevy version of @Ryan's '38.

Wow, right on - perfect. And that 36, also.
They say stance is everything and this proves it.

  11. Love, love, love both vehicles. I always tell people that they don’t have to hit the overkill ****on on a build and these two are proof.

    The 36 is beautiful.

  14. I’m usually not fond of the ‘56 .

I dunno the right word to describe it , fancy ? Delicate? Prestige?

I dunno , the front grill and light treatment always seemed a bit to much for a hot rod .

But this thing nails it !!!! Just the right amount of shiny and go fast at***ude.

And for the ‘56 owners out there I’m not knocking the style of the cars at all , but most of the time they seem to me more of a stylish cruiser then the bad *** at***ude the 55 gives off.

    but not this one

  15. WOW! NICE! 56 150’s are about the best of the tri fives and this is an awesome example of one.

If you're not thinking "less is more", you need to study these pictures a little longer.

I've always been of the opinion that '55s were hot rods, '56s were customs, and '57s were best left stock.

This '56 seriously questions my opinions! Baddest '56 I've ever seen! #poopinagroup

Only thing it needs is some shiny on the wheels. Dog dish, full caps, slot mags, something. Too much black.

Clean, simple, no nonsense with exactly the right piece. I've admired photos of the 36 for years as being spot on and the 56 matches it for being right on the money.
There is a serious lesson in both cars but I can relate more to the 56. In that you need to know when to stop with your add on items and getting it right doesn't mean sticking pieces on because you saw the stuff in adds in the back of old magazines. That is a prime example of not adding **** to the finished product is what makes it right.

If a feller didn’t like both these cars, he probably wouldn’t even like fried chicken. :D:D Seriously, they are perfect in my eyes.

    I love both cars. Bad *** at***udes.
    And the stance nails it.
But if I was a betting man, I’d say both cars have a front suspension that isn’t traditional.
    Don’t get me wrong.
I’d have both cars in my garage in a heartbeat.

There's not that many people that truly know how to present a car. This guy is definitely one of the special ones.

That 56 is the perfect example of what you get, when the elements of
" Coco Chanel " Basic black and white, are combined with,
    " Broderick Crawford " Highway Patrol !

    Less is more!
