I saw this auction for an old truck on ebay. The seller (in North Dakota) just started selling on ebay last month and has 4 old (mostly larger sized) vintage trucks on auction. But as I looked at the pictures in his auctions, I started noticing everything in the background. Looks like a lot of "Rockstars with Torquewrenches" material, along with what looks like a LOT of 1950s era pickup trucks. Hey Tman, it might be worth a road trip from where you are if the seller allows vistors. Wish I lived closer. Here's one of his photos, and a link to one of his auctions: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6472&item=2489386088
Looks like some good material there. Hopefully he's not one of the "I can get this much on ebay" kind of guys.
Been there and bought there and sold there. Neat guy but hard to get a hold of as he has a large farm. His dad also has a stash about a mile away. Lots of good, neat stuff and I found him to be reasonable.....course now that he's on the net........well, who knows. Send him an E-mail if your interested in anything. Has tons of cars/trucks from 20's up.
If anyone wants to see more of this guys yard, there's pictures on a site called 57rustbucket Go to page 16 and it do***ents his visit to the yard. Lots of great chevy stuff. It appears to be one of the most unpicked over yards I've ever seen. Lowrider alert, lots of converts and wagons too.
Yeah, he only sells complete cars, no parts. Pretty cool. Said he's got like 400 cars and gets new ones all the time. Neat stuff.
