I put a Briggs and Stratton 16 hp horizontal shaft that was 40 years old. The transmission is a 1932 ford three speed. The flywheel clutch and pressure plate are 1939 v8 60 hp. I machined a coupling to tie the open driveshaft to the enclosed drive shaft. Rear wheels are one piece cast Aluminum. I don't know who made these. I opened up the center register on Honda disk brakes for the rear. I made an emergency brake using a motorcycle caliper on the same rotor. There is an alternator from a Nissan under the engine that is driven by the input shaft of the transmission to keep the battery charged. All the lights work. Grandson wants turn signals.
Oh man....that Briggs & Stratton engine and 32' Ford 3-speed tranny.....that sounds like a whirlwind and total-hoot to drive....I admire the dedication & talent!---Ray
