Motion Pictures **"This is Long Beach" Screening in OMAHA - PHOTOS ADDED**

I invite all Omaha area HAMB members, their families, and friends to join us this Sunday, Sept. 15th.

Brian Darwas' new film, "This is Long Beach", will be showing at the Waiting Room Lounge at 6212 Maple Street in Benson.

Tickets are just $5 at the door and we will have 6:00pm and 8:00pm screenings.

We will block off parking in front of the venue for Hot Rods and Customs, so please get your cars out an come on up! There are some great restaurants within a couple blocks of the Waiting Room Lounge. Stop up early, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the show.

"This is Long Beach" shadows three generations of custom car & hot rod aficionados, The Long Beach Cavaliers. Each generation, from the 1940's to present, recounts detailed memories and pays homage to the cars that bonded them in a lifelong brotherhood all while chopping a 1947 Ford in Brad Masterson's Kustom's car shop in historic Lynwood, California."

how many seats available at each show?????

 

There should be plenty of seating available for each show - approximately 150-200 seats. Are you planning on going?

thinking strongly about it, I grew up in Benson, just south of 60 & Maple. used to go this bar alot when it was the Lift Ticket

 

do you serve food there???

 

Cool, I hope you can make it! Did you happen to see Nirvana at the Lift Ticket in '89? That always seems to come up as one of their 'claims to fame'.

Food isn't served at the Waiting Room Lounge, but some of the local restaurants will deliver there. You are also welcome to bring food in with you or dine in at one of the places nearby.

"This is Long Beach" will be a available on DVD October 1st. . . in the meantime, come out to tomorrow's screening at The Waiting Room.

It's more than the chance to see the film BEFORE it's out on DVD, it's also a chance hang out with other car guys and talk about. . . well, cars.
