We just got slammed with 13 inches of "non car working on" snow......just got it cleaned up in time for another storm. Just LOOK AT THIS SHIT! If it continues, the guy that bought my 36 chevy pickup will NEVER brave the snow to come and get it outta my garage! Whatta puss.........and my prize poncho continues to sit in the driveway, getting snowed on.....shit!
We only got 3 inches down here but just enough to screw all kinds of stuff up.... were just like 150 miles south of omaha
I hear ya, Rock...we got single digit temps (and some barely double digit ones!) to nicely compliment the snow cover here in Miserable Michigan!!!
Rocky, I'm feeling your pain! I have plowed just about every day in Jan. The piles in front of my house just about dwarf my truck. And it's '02 GMC 2500HD ext cab 4x4!!! It's nuts. We are on the verge of setting a new snow fall record dating back over 100 years for snowfall in Jan. I hope it settles for you soon so you can work on your poncho..which is a good looking car BTW.. Rat.....
just down the road in Charleston SC its cloudy and 46.. warmest we have seen in awhile... if we even get the weatherman talking about ice or snow they cancel work and school.. no way to deal with it here.. the only plows we have are pulled by horses...
[ QUOTE ] the guy that bought my 36 chevy pickup will NEVER brave the snow to come and get it outta my garage! Whatta puss [/ QUOTE ] Ha ha ha! Come now, Rocky.....not everybody is motivated like we are....... I picked up a 64 T-bird in a raging downpour that involved flooded out washes that were strong enough to carry a road grader away.... We, are a special breed....hehe
We got 27" dumped on us last Monday....then it turned COLD. Last Thursday the windchill factor at 10:00 a.m. was minus 71 ! This photo was taken a few winters ago but it looks the same out my kitchen window as I submit this....
I'm about 300 miles north of SJFast and it's the same damn story here. -53 two days ago. But it's warmer today. Only -24! Cars are completely buried. We have about 4 feet on the ground right now not counting drifts. I wonder everyday who was the genius who thought here was a good place to build a city! Arctic winters and bugs that can carry off small children in summer.
i hear ya brothas. it's about 65 degrees right now. thats really cold for CA. it's the middle of winter and i'm getting ready to go down to the beach. sorry fellas just had to.

[/ QUOTE ] Always wondered what you guys did between droughts, bush fires, mud slides, earth quakes and flash floods. Just kidding with ya. I gotta go shovel some more snow...
Dug out my car just to find that it wouldn't start. Any one renting a room down south? I need a break from this.

[/ QUOTE ] as for the droughts we save money from watering the grass for our rides. brush fires we bring marshmellows and hot dogs. mud slides we jump in it. it's good for the skin.(so they say) earth quakes it's the best time for love making flash floods we come out with our surf boards.

[/ QUOTE ] Been up to Fairbanks in the summer and experienced the most "Horrific" mosquito attacks of my life!!!! WTF??? I've been in the jungles of Panama and didn't get tagged as bad as I had in Alaska!!! Viciouse Lil Puckers!!!
and I thought surfing yesterday in 55 degree ocean was cold! It was cold here last night, I had to wear a jacket. hehehe! I feel your pain though...I grew up in Kansas. I remember that crap, even though it's been 10 years since I've been in it.
I've got a farmer-tan sunburn from playing with my new toys all day in a t-shirt (and pants). been around 66º today, so I skipped the shorts and wore the full length Dickies. The only fall out here was a seagul with the trots bagged the hood on Wife's Civic.
I'm such a wuss, I have only been out her 2 years and last night when I was workin on the truck it was windy and about 49 degrees. I said it was too frikin cold and went in the house. Now about three years ago I remember changing my water pump in the winter in the snow in a gravel parking lot. Musta forgot to pack my thick skin.
Hey Rocky!!...this makes my PM really funny!!!!!!!!!! sent it before seeing the post i worked on my pals car in the driveway......in the sun......in western Canada!! can't wipe the grin off my face!!
Rocky we got more coming today. Im lucky I got my truck inside before the last strom hit so I got it to work on.
[ QUOTE ] Rocky, that looks like scene strait out of"A Christmas Story", Don't shoot your eye out kid. [/ QUOTE ] Hahahahahaha!! I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! ROFL Sam!
