Cloth washable diapers are traditional, disposables like Pampers and Huggies are not, although Pampers have been around longer than Huggies and may have been used on some of today's so-called 'traditonal' rodders....some of which may still be wearing them!

REAL 'traditional' Moms and nannys balked at disposable diapers!

    Interesting question, CB! [IMG]

I think nannys are a traditional thing carried over from England...the best nannys ARE English, so I'm told...but that could open up a whole NEW debate.

I had various "babysitters" until I was old enough to flirt with them...then it became illeagal for my parents to pay them to 'entertain' me!

Most all of it is in good fun, but occasionally people get pissed. It is a waste of Ryans bandwidth though. I'm surprised he hasn't deleted this. Maybe he likes an occasional Soap Opera... [IMG]

  9. So, does that mean my Mopar question last weekend was out of line? If so, I am sorry. This board is such an awesome think tank on all things, that it is hard to NOT tap the vast knowledge contained therein. Wow, could tell I been dealing with real estate stuff all day. That's more big words than I've used all year. Anyways, sorry if I offended anyone... [IMG]

"Traditional" style customs and hotrods are my passion. Comes from being raised in a house full of antiques, and working on vintage wooden boats and all that stuff I thank my dad for. My self, personally I would'nt even really want to build any of my cars another way. But bottom line is I am a car guy. I like most all cars to some extent. (exept hondas that are decked out in super ugly body kits, and wont get out of thier own way, I hate those) I enjoy the fact that I can find some sort of redeeming quality in most anything. I live on burgers and fries, but pizza is nice once in a while too. I hope that makes at least some sense! I also like the fact that Im not the only one here who feels like fighting...But its getting old. -J.

I work on my Hot Rods in the dirt, gravel and rain. I don't even have a garage. Been doin it for nearly 50 years. It a fuckin TRADITION to me........OLDBEET

I built my 56 buick under the tree in the front yard... I think I'll swap the engine in my 54 chevy down on the road, thats where the nearest concrete is... Ive lost count how many times Ive ended up holding a flashlight in my mouth fixing something on these cars so I can make it to work in the morning. Its even better in the rain! You got me beat with the 50 years part though. -J. [IMG]

I like some variety also. But when I want something besides burgers- I go to a different place to eat. Same goes for my passion for cars. When I have a question or comment about something other then traditional hot rods and customs, I go to a different board. Simple as that.

If you are not interested in talking about either, go away. Not only have their been a lot of OT posts that I've had to delete lately, but there are also a lot of non-traditional posts. There are other message boards for that stuff.... This is not a cute and sweet community with lots of compassion for all things "street rod" - this board was built to be focused on the traditional and thats how it will stay... Please be conscious of that.

Maybe it's because it's getting cold, or maybe it's just me, but I think this should be BTT again.

  15. WHY??? Can't you just repost that statement WITHOUT the NINE PAGES of mindless banter? Ryan lock the post! Watch how the rugurgitation of this post will turn to Monster Trucks, teddy bear icons or Sideburn farming. Seems like the same thing this post was intended to prevent, it also promotes.

92 posts in just over a week. It's obvious you need to get away from your computer. While you're at it get the fuck out of our garage. I don't look at this board to see scenester posts, check on world affairs, or see pics of a-holes blown out. I come here to learn, share, and give shit to the unwashed. Go wash and come back with something to share about traditional rods or customs.

Now, if only germ practiced what he preached... His ratio of related to OT posts is more than a tad lop sided.

Why don't you guys all lighten up and go post something constructive.

    This is silly.
