How many read the topic of the day on the main page ?
If you take a look at the top 10 beautiful cars of the 50's the ONLY Ford Motor Co. car on the list was a Lincoln !
The reset were GM cars & wagons and a Nash !
There were many other BEAUTIFUL Fords that some or these that were mentioned . Seems like someone like GM and wasn't bias in the post .
I have to say that if someone would have taken a look at some of the Beautiful Mercury's , Ford of these years or even that Beautiful 1954 Ford Ranch Wagon that "HOTRODPRIMER" right here in the group owners , they would thought a little different than the ones they posted . There are a lot more Beautiful 50's Fords that people in the group own and should have been considered as a good choice for a "certain year" to be considered as a Best Looking Car or Wagon of the 50's !
    Just my opinion !

I agree with most of the list, I just think that '59 pontiacs are ugly ducklings, especially compared to 60 pontiacs, or '59 chevy cars or el cominos.

'55-6 crowns, or '57 fords would should be on the list, but again, I think it has a lot of merit

Personally most of the best looking cars are from 1954 to 1957 from most any of the big auto maker . The 55/56 autos had some of the finest looking cars ever made . I still like the 56 Fords the best besides the shoebox Fords .
My Dad owned a 55 Buick Special and a 56 Olds Rocket 88 . They were so damn beautiful with all that chrome on the grills and dashes ! They also both had really strong running engines too especially that Rocket 88 ! Both were two tone Blue and White cars .

Years ago, I drove a lowered mild custom 54 Vicky. It had all the windows down and was parked in a rest stop in the Rockies. A bus load of people who were as old as I am now got out and drooled all over my car. one guy asked if it were an Olds or a Caddy. I said no, its a Ford. He said "Bull Spit, Ford never made a car that looked that good"! (it did have Olds tail light lenses, hehe)

What a shame! Personally, I couldn't even pick out a specific year 'cause I like ALL Fords! Each have their own personality!

42-56 fords are better looking candidates for customs, then from the factory
