I'll be bringing my Jolly Roger 550 along with a half dozen or so from our Gasser Racing Series here in W.N.Y. I put fenders on so I'll be racing in the gasser class instead of Hot Rod.
I am gonna try, just got layed off, and already have our room booked for beaver springs, so dont know if I can do both. Also bummed I will prolly miss that first slick devils car show. Now I am really depressed.
Instead of bring my yellow Willys six-banger I'll have a new (old) car for this year: The Last Logghe Altered. I look forward to seeing all my old Buckeye racin' buddies again. 6re6
Haven't been up that way in decades, but when I was a kid they were called Thompson Drag Raceway and their commercials were all over WMMS. Good to hear they're still around.
Congrats Steve, BLEW BY YOU is in the May issue of Drag Illustrated. The Classical AA/GS group is getting alot of ink from the Gator Nationals.
Super cool! You and I need to light them up side by side at Meltdown. That's a picture I would frame.
