On other vBulletin-based forums that I frequent, members can "LIKE" another member's post ... and/or they can give a "REP" ("reputation point") to other members: Once a member has been awarded a pre-determined amount of REP points, his green REP bar graph (beneath his avatar & "Rank") grows ... This gives other members some insight into how well a member is respected on the forum (i.e., the member consistently contributes meaningful content to the community) or if the member is typically full of BS (i.e., a member with a very high post count that rarely adds any thing of substance to the forum discussion). Unlike a "LIKE" (where all members can see who liked the post), a "REP" is anonymous in that only the member receiving the REP is notified that someone has added to their "Reputation". I see the "H.A.M.B. Trophy Points" as being somewhat similar to the REP points awarded on my other vBulletin-based forums.
