First, they don't tie them down. Second, they do them with something called "Utes". This things running a blown six. This is what happens when you've got a little too much torque.
That last video should be mandatory watching for people who do "burnouts" at local cruise nights with crowds around........and what happens when it "hooks".
Sorry, I really don't get the whole trash a car doing burnouts thing! High dollar cars wasting there time putting on a show like that, let's hope that sort of thing doesn't catch on here. Just my $.02
Yes......we could see from a long time ago that crowds and out of control tons of metal shouldn't be mixed. Spin a tyre on the street, and your ride will be confiscated and or crushed. So when we see YouTube video of some American show with some ratrod barely spinning a wheel, we want to gather around in a group and yell "WANKER"!
Problem is, he wasn't doing just a burnout, he was trying to do donuts, which don't work well when you're packin' giant soft slicks in the back.
Yep that the secret fuel additive that winds up the HP potnetial and makes wimpy Holden 6 bangers behave like a mondo cube, nasty**** blown and injected Hemis. Now, just make sure you don't let all your buddies in on the secret. And for the record..... its VEGEMITE !! See the traditional WWII ad......help us beat the***** too !! Rat
