I did not want to run that lil moon they send with the multi lug chrome reverse, but when I put the lugs on you still see the extre holes and the dust cover. So I had some bullets for the center from nightprowlers. the bigun in the center I just drilled a hole in the threaded dust cover and bolted it to that so it can just screw on the hub. the lil bullets are just license plate holders that I welded flush to the back side of the rim. I cooled em quick so it would not distort them ore the chrome on the rim. I think it makes em look pretty cool later skaters

Looks like a nice way to fix em. I love chromies with white walls and have a set that I just mounted on ribbon whites for an early 60's look. The multi lug type do seem to be better on the wallet though.

    <font color="green">Did you say reverse?

I am wanting to change the wheels on the 41 to....well anything else.

The problem is the 76 Camaro sub. I am running stock Chevy rallys, 14 X 6 with about a 4.5" offset to clear the fenders.

They don't always clear the fenders.

I would love to use something like the wheels you have there.

Where did you get them? Do you know if they have something that will work for me?

    Nice work man!!!

    I dig it.

Considering what the real chrome steel's cost, and what the uni-lugs go for, thats a great idea!!

You can buy the uni-lugs, trick em out like that, and save a bunch of money that can be used for other stuff on your ride!!

600 15 tires are silvertowns bfg I bought em on the ebay cheap. They used these on vettes and stuff I think not a fat whitewall just a good size one. i think the fat white looks like sjit on the chrome wheel. a lil too ghetto fabulous for me. The rims i think fronts came from wheel vintique r something and rears the wheel shop in chicago has em. I am on about my last set of these we bought like 8 sets like 6 years ago or else I would sell you all some.. later hope this helps drew

  15. I like your idea....nice touch. I had the same problem with my multi-lug smoothies topped off with Moon spider caps. I went the cheap and dirty way and picked up some chrome 5/8 inch flat top plugs from the hardware store. They snap in just right, but bend the eight little tabs back on the inside of the rim just for security.

thats a good idea. i had mocked that up on the wheel vintiques smoothies i have but didn't like it. i was using the next size down center bullet which apparently make all the difference in the world. looks really good i may try that again...ken....
