Hi all, my name is Noel, joined the HAMB alittle while back now, thought i'd already introduced myself and my project. Its close as dammit to the cutoff date (its a '66), but think I might be able so slip in considering the build style i'm aiming for, and the fact its based on the Plymouth Valiant from '64. Its a VC model Valiant by Chrysler. This one is a Regal, which is the (slightly) upspec model. Here is the old girl as she was found, out in a paddock at the other halfs familys property. Here she sat for 11(!) years before I took ownership. Then, with just a new battery and some petty down the carb, she sprang right back to life. All the electrics still work, despite the family of mice now calling the car home, and there is suprisingly little rust (a 5mm hole in the middle of the bonnet is all i've found so far). I'm planning on bringing it back to life with motorvation from a 318, disc brakes all round, a slight twist on a traditional '60s mild custom. The last pic is what I will be using as inspiration, debut'd by Larry Watson in 1967 from what I can gather, about the right time frame for a Val of this vintage. Well, hopefully I will get to know a few of you on here, and you won't mind too much if I pick your brain, and aquire some of your knowledge, so that I can bring this baby back to life sooner rather than later, hit the streets cruising with the rest of you! Noel
