    Hi.
I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Simon Watts, I'm a pinstriper and artist from England. I've been a watcher of the HAMB for quite a few years and thought it's about time I logged on. Carwise, I built and drive an all steel model A roadster pickup with no part on it older than 1940. It's running a hopped up Model A block with dual 97's and an open pipe that lets everyone with a mile know I'm coming. Other projects include another Model A closed cab pickup which will run a flathead V8 and an almost completed 1948 BSA hardtail bobber.

Of course there's not enough hours in the day to get it all done but slowly and surely it's all getting there.

I travel a lot and spend quite a bit of time in the states and happen to have met a few of you guys in the flesh. So anyway I think that's about it for now, I'll try and post a picture of the truck if I can.

    Cheers
    Simon

    Welcome Simon,

I'm a Beeza rider myself. 1966 BSA Lightning. I'd love to see pics of that '48 if you get the chance.

Wouldn't mind seeing pics of the A as well. It sounds like you've put some work into it.

Can y'all really get away with running an open exhaust over there? Or is it just like here where you hope the wrong people don't hear you? LOL

If you're ever in Texas, I'll let ya put some stripes on my Lightning.

    Take care,

    Big Daddy

  5. Hello Simon,

    welcome to the HAMB.

I can't recommend Simon enough, he striped my Ducati Monster, outside his flat in London one evening, 3 days after I got it! Great work.

Hope to catch up with you over here in sunny CA some time this year. Paso?

    Dave

WATTS-up, Simon? Your camera broken down on you? Send me something when you get a chance (or when you head back over).

Hey thanks for the kind words and the warm welcome. I've dicked around a bit and managed to upload some photos of my truck and a couple of striping shots. You'll find them here.

I'll get a bit more organised and put some more stuff up there for you to check out. I've finally settled down a bit and finally have a landline and a internet connection so I'm slowly getting organised.

I'd also like to promote some of my work here if that's ok!
    Cheers.

RF I'll be in touch soon.

Damn, that's it, we're going downhill.
We're being infiltrated by rockstars and celebrities.
    Oh this isn't good.

Simon Watts, been seeing your work for years now, you're good, welcome.

This should work. I set this up on Webshots, if anyone can suggest anywhere else that's good for storing photos online I'd be happy to hear about it.
    Cheers
