So, I got my 58 4 door Delray so here is my frankensense mind at work. I originally planned on using a newer 4200 in my car since I want extensively travel but now I am thinking about transplanting the body on an GMC envoy or Buick Ranier ch***is sans the belly pan, converting to 5 lug via adapters and building what would look like a late 50s Kustom with everything electronic...gadgets and all hidden. But 2wd or AWD is the question. Any thoughts? No BS about how I shouldn't do this though otherwise I hijacked the thread completely. I am actively looking for a wrecked envoy or Ranier to channel my body on. When I get my two door then I will worry about old school. I got the capability to do it. Just curious on thoughts. I am looking at drive ability and comfort with DVD,GPS,and ac all hidden. Factory benches. So, the body will be all 58 and everything else would be modern to include the 58 Chevy VHX gauges and ICE main screen would pop up where 6x9 dash speaker is and have hidden speakers with factory radio delete. PS, PB, all in one shot. I will keep updates as they go on here but they will start out slow.
