Just to throw it out there, that earth tone green will wear on you over time. It looks nice now, there seems to be a bit of over use lately on everything from an Auburn Speedster to a late model Camaro. Because it works? Not in my opinion. It's just different for right now but it's in "fad status" like the pastels were. A custom such as yours needs a color that looks more chromatic, or better stated, fresh and clean colors. It's not some early 50s Euro box, it's a genuine American custom (kustom). It needs more "color" than that pea green. This will be one of, if not the most important choices made on the car. You want to get chubbed every time you open the garage door.
I don't know a lot about paint..or color! What I do know is the NEVER colors: brown any shade, robins egg blue, pink. IMHO!
....or these colors black with green below trim only or black with green below trim and green top or flip flopped. Tryin to show colors only not the truck..........you might be able to keep the name with these colors....???
How About An Original Ford VERMILLION RED Colour. You Know What They Say About Red ?? What Skirts Are You Running On The Car ? Larry
I usually am not a two tone guy, but this should be two tone. That green looks great but with the interior colors maybe a cream top with gold/bronze bottom. If the interior was not done then roddin-shack would have it with that red on the bottom.
I wonder how it would look in a trio of colors like Keith's car? The red looks cool but is not really my thing.
Not sure about the tri tone but I have always loved the cooper and lime colour on this and the Lee Pratt built Ford.
OK...Here's a look at the tri color. I changed the trim because I don't think it would work at all with a straight line break between colors.
Amazing work!!! This one really gets me exited. This color green was my origianal plan for the roof and I already bought it. I might revisit the idea and use the bronze color for the rest of the body.
