    Those fenders look traditional!

  3. I saw some fool had an A chassis with front and rear end, wheels and tires, but no engine or box, for $3500.00, Kiwi, (google it for fun) on our local sell site, Trade me.
For some reason, a lot of people think these Model As are gold plated down this end of the planet.

  4. Here's some more inspiration. These sport coupes always seem to get an ugly duckling bad rap.

  7. I agree. Most '28-'31 tudor sedans I've run across are an average of $2500-$2800 just for the body with no title.

  8. Gets pretty "scary" in the northern parts of 'Sconny' , does everyone remember a little fellow named Ed Gein?.

If you could get that for $3,000., and sell off the chassis & parts you may have a good body to start with for around $1,500. That is how I'd look at if it was 1-2 hours away. Bob

Be sure and look at it in person BEFORE you plunk down any cash.

  22. I don't want to debate the literate verses the illiterate, but I would like to know if the OP brought this thing, or followed it up?

  23. Listing price doesn't always mean final price also. I just found that out on a CL ad I recently answered.

Thank you for all of the thoughts, opinions and advice. I have decided to pursue something I deem a more practical summer daily driver. Struck a deal on a 1957 Ford Custom 300 two door, 272 CI, 3 speed. Nothing on it until Spring, at which time I'll do a separate PROJECT thread.
