thread lock or anti galling compound?

    The sholder bolt that holds the upper brake caliper to the spindle (mustang II) fell out of one side this weekend. the other side is a 3/4 x 13 that is 2 in long had no lock washer and what appears to be anti-galling compound (so I assume the side that fell out had the same). These thread into the body of the caliper, and don't have nuts. I'm planning to replace both with grade 8 bolts and lock washers. Should I use anti-galling or thread locker when I put it back together? I assume heat is an issue here so I don't know which would be best, I don't want it to fall out again, but also want to be able to take it apart if need be in the future.
    Please advise this rookie oh wise ones!:confused:

    Factory didn't use either....but I would use loctite if you want to. If they are good bolts - not china grade eight - and torqued properly they will never come loose.

    Try Blue Loctite
