Thread rating

Who goes around one-starring the hell out of so many threads?

 

the funny part is if you leave your cursor on the stars for a second it shows how many r(h)aters have been there, usually 1-4 people!!

The chief says we gotta live with it even though he agrees with the majority sentiment.

The worst humans are the ones who are rating Birthday threads and Cl***ified ads!

 

I don't pay any attention to the "stars" thing. Who cares what others think or rate...if it interests you open it, read it, reply...or not.

 

There are some threads that get a legit 5 star rating. Then there are those that rate their own thread for some reason. I'll down vote an off topic thread. I'll up vote a legit good thread. I think more of the 1 star threads are ones down voted.

It was ME! No, not really. I usually don't even notice them. Like who's a FNG or whatever. Does it really matter. What makes me say "hmmm..." are the threads that have absolutely NOTHING to do with common interest.

 

1 star ratings don't usually mean jack, but if a thread has a 5 star rating, it's probably pretty dang good.

 

I just gave this thread 2 stars, no reason, which is probably why the ratings make no sense, I have been on here since 2009 and this is the first (and last) time I rate a thread

 

The little stars don't bother me as much as OT threads. Prayer request threads, I have a hangnail thread or my buddy has a hangnail thread or obits. Don't get me wrong I have comp***ion for those folks but I come here to escape all the ******** life deals us not to get into more of it.

 

I "one star" threads.

 

I've never clicked on any stars, don't know how they work, and usually don't even notice if they are there or not. If a thread interests me I open it and make up my own mind if it is interesting to me or not.

Hahaha, I don't believe I have ever seen a thread with more ratings than comments! Hell, I don't think I have ever seen a thread with this many ratings!

 

1 staring a thread lets everyone know the threads ****s. In the star givers opinion.

Yeah, but I think somebody spends their time rating threads with one star like it's a game.

 

I just came up from the garage and working on hot rods to look something up and this was the first thread so I thought I would chime in. I noticed a few weeks back that ALL the threads that were being posted had one star ratings. I started a similar thread and the mods ended up looking into it.turns out it was a disgruntled hamber. They took care of him. maybe the same thing is going on?

 

I gave this thread 5 stars and bumped it from 1.94 to 2.03 rating just to be obstinant! (sp?)

 

Just hit the New Posts ****on to browse and there are no stinking stars.
