I have used them and they make one with 4 pins on the side that can not back out. but can be removed if necessary. used it on an aluminum fitting supporting a brake caliper on a dirt bike and on the exhaust manafold on my old toyota . work great. ED
In any application I can get away with, I use studs w/loctite in aluminum...especially when the part is removed installed regularly...
