    Neal,

Are these the heads you asked about? They were made by Dixon, and Bill has two different sets. One set has the intake and exhaust valves in the head, and the other set has only the exhaust valves in the head (If I remember correctly??).

  4. Bill is a very nice person and I have met him only once so far and hope too again. You guys do not know what kind of a treat this is since Bill has to get too know you real well before you are aloud too come over. Someday I will get there. Hey Teach'm is the 32 going to make it Roadster show. Pops roadster is almost finshed but will not make LA.

what the hell am I doing wrong?....did you see all them big ol high dollar do-hickies, and them sweet 32's setting all over the place? I'll be right back, gotta go set fire to my garage with all my junk in it.

  6. Tell Bill he's a ***** :D just kidding . . . I don't think I've seen as much rare stuff as he has in one "normal" sized garage. He has obviously been at this for many years - more power to him! I think it is cool that he actually builds cars and drives them . . . versus just making show cars that come out of a trailer.

One cool setup -- wish I knew him.

The fordoor will be at the Roadster Show in spirit only. I'm hoping it will be back on the road soon, as we have our best guy on the job!

Unless something changes, the plan is to head across the desert bright and early Friday morning.

-Here are some random pictures I didn't put in the original post, enjoy.

-The blue and white sprint car (#455) belongs to a gentleman from California, and is currently getting an Ardun installed in it for a vintage race next weekend. I don't have much info on the other sprint cars, but the detail on the red one has to be seen to be appreciated.

His collection of rare Flatty parts is like a mini-Smith Museum. Neat.

32 n 40.jpg Bill's 5 window hi-boy was originally purchased by me in 1970 for $1000 (choke). It was a full fendered drag car with a SBC. Bill was the only guy I would have sold it to. Thought I'd attach a pic from around 1972 after I finished it. The 40 was my wife's driver. No idea where it went. All flathead powered.

Outstanding photos ... outstanding. I'm saving the pics to my hardrive for future reference. I really appreciate the detailed shots. Thanks for posting.

BTW, I can't say that I've seen many deuce 5 window coupes with spare tires mounted on both sides ... right & left fenders with spare tire wells .... dang.

BTW, again. That old red roadster knocks my socks off. Hell, all three do. Sh!t.
