Which one of these 2x2 intake manifolds do you think takes the cake?

    The Weiand

    The Eddie Meyer

    The Edelbrock

I'm aiming and hoping to pick up a "slingshot" intake if possible!
Thanks for your input and best wishes,

The true slingshot of course is the Edelbrock.

Another rare puppy is the pre-war Meyer tower manifold with the water heater built into it up under the carbs. Ah-duh, if you had a shot of that manifold I bet it has a pair of hose fittings on the other side so it IS the goodie manifold.

Now that they are repopping the slingshot I'd have to go with that sexy Eddie Meyer!

The Eddie Meyer gets my vote. I like the finned center section.

steve, the weiand takes it for me.

  6. You can buy a new sling shot from Edelbrock. Just saw an add for it. And the Eddie Meyer is something special.

    J,
I knew you would pick the Weiand:)
Thanks again for the talk on Sunday, you gave me a lot of great knowledge and info i needed, much appreciated!

  8. I would have to go the Weiand also. Not such a big fan when the carbs are so close together.......but the Eddie is bloody nice.

The Eddie Meyer gets my vote. Than again, any of the three would look sexy. When you decide to sell off one of the two that you don't use, let me know :)

Opps, I just noticed that they are on another site. Never mind about selling me one, I can bid on one if I'd like.

    Say "Why And"

I like the Weiand, it is simple!

Although they all are as cool as it gets!

Throw a pic of your engine-bay for us to really decide.
    I had a tall thickstun-like manifold,
it didn't look good in my '40,
so I went with the low-rise type I had.

The eddie meyer is pretty sweet though

I have a Weiand like that, and I like it plenty, but I'd trade it in a second for that early Eddie Meyer.

It's a toss up between the Weiand and the Eddie but I guess if I had to pick one it would be the Eddie Meyer just because I don't have one.... yet.

I don't have an engine-bay for an example but i do have an engine...

This is going into a Lakes style modified hot rod with no hood or sides, i'm going for the high-rise intake look, that's why i'm choosing one of the three intakes besides the Thickstun as well.

Everyone else, thanks for your opinions and views, much appreciated!
