That looks like a factory Hurst shifter. Most of the aftermarket Hursts had a flat handle, and adjustable stop bolts on front and rear. In fact, from the looks of it, this setup could be from a 3 speed Pontiac GTO, as they used top loader Dearborn three speeds beginning in 1965, since the '64 models had no problem grinding up the Muncie built three speed transmissions that they had.

    Hi I'm Joe from Hamburg/Germany.
Hopefully someone can help my. I got a Hurst Mystery shifter unit (MS FO-49-51) for my 1951 Ford Custom, ( 3 speed gearbox, no overdrive) but unfortunately there are some missing parts. What I need is the messurement for the small pin (partnumber from Hurst is 1565) and the mesurement for the 2 arms for the shifter-rods and the sidecover from the gearbox sidecover. I havend found any informations about this parts online abot the size. If anyone can give me some messurement, (I can manufact in my workshop) that will be great, and helpfull.

    Best regards

    Joe
