  1. Guys,

I need to grab a throttle cable for my Deuce. Im running a spoon pedal and want to run the cable to the drivers side to a PM 7 intake on th RHS of the carbs as you are looking from the front of the car.

What length cable do you guys run ? I cant measure it mself b/c the car is still being upholstered and I want to grab the cable.

    Just my opinion.....

A cable looks way out of place on a traditional car.......like a flathead powered Deuce

Throttle rods are very easy to fabricate ( or take from older cars and shorten ) I make mine up from scratch.....1/4 rod and a few ends......

  4. OK OK guys I hear yas...I agree on a steel ride that would be the way to go.

But Ill be running a single 2 bbl to break it in, then ill be going to a PM7 then the 4-71 will be going on so I need the flexibilty that a cable will bring.

Maybe down the track I can knock up a steel rod setup with the 4-71 but for now I just wanna get this thing going.

Maybe ill wait till the rides back and hit the boneyars for a cable that will get me goin till I break in the flatty

  5. Hey Frank, try a brake cable off a pushbike. Very adjustable length wise, cheap and easy to get anywhere. I have used these before and they work well. I think Pscho Boi is running one too......
