Throttlers Experience

Throttlers cars are really cool. I traveled down to the SLC autorama and stopped by to check out the rides. The throttlers had a really cool display. I chatted with a guy named Henny and he was a really nice guy, however up until then, it seemed like the rest of the crew acted like a bunch of elitists. Oh well, still cool cars. As my conversation continued with Henny he mentioned how he and his son built almost all of the clubs cars. He even complained about how certain members of his club dont take care of their cars after all the time he puts into them. I couldnt believe it, these guys dont really build their own cars? It seems a bunch of kids pay these guys to build traditional hotrods, join the club, then act like they really know what it is all about. Is this true? I guess that is what hotrodding is these days. Still cool cars. Oh well, have a nice day.

 

They're selling Throttlers and Pharoahs Car CLub shirts at the Virgin Record Store by me. The material is "stressed" to make it look vintage

There was an article in Hot Rod mag about a year ago about the Throttlers, and from what I understood, everybody helped to build everybody elses car. That was one of the requirements to join.

You may have had a valid point, if you had taken the time to join and contribute for a while before just jumping in and stirring the*****. If traditional hotrodders are not "your" kind, I think you are most likely in the wrong place.
