Projects Throughout bearing spring

i am building a model a speedster . I am using the original motor . Have a double a bell housing (shorter that standard housing) half inch adapted plate to mount 93 t 5 trans .Using early v8 throughout bearing hub . On the t5 input shaft I am useing a bushing for the through out bearing will work. Made a mount on t 5 case for spring . The standard model throughout bearing spring to long . What have any of you used , or do I fabercate a return spring I the clutch pedal? Any input would be helpful. Miff
