Thunderbird suspension

    Has anyone used a mid 80s Thunderbird (front or rear) suspension in any street rod applications? Thanks

    I think that’s a Fox body, so strut front suspension. That would be very hard to swap. I think the rear is tri-link, but I could be wrong. And 4 lug. Not really desirable.

    Seems like I remember people grafting body parts to an existing Thunderbird body and ch***is so that it resembled the car they were grafted from. So it ended up being very similar to the car of choice but had all the later engine and suspension. Kinda ***backwards to what you are asking.

    Here, I found some by searching "49 Ford Thunderbird" there were more than these two.
