Brown aged leather seat, simple s***ched panels with a pocket on the door. Nothing fancy...

Something like this seat in Chris' roadster...

But for the showdown, it will look like this...

Black body with a distressed brown leather interior is my ultimate combo. I wanted my '32 to run that combo with brown leather straps over the hood and wood floors.

Great minds think alike man. I was gonna go with an oxblood, but after seeing that awesome brown seat in the legion spl, I had to rethink things a bit. :p

This morning I finished mounting the fuel tank and lines, bolted the body down, and started running wires...
I also stained and poly'd all the wood including the floors. It looks ****ing awesome if I do say so!

I am a ****er for wood when ever it can be used. It's just got a really nice feel to it as it adds to the entirety of the vehicle. Makes it feel like "Home" instead of House if that makes sense.

I do however can't wait to cover it in mud at the Showdown!!!! I call dibs on first ride around the track!!!

I wish I was driving mine to work! Haha, thanks Phil...

I like it too. I just placed ANOTHER order to Mac's for some wiring supplies and various other **** to keep me busy this weekend. Wife and kid are going out of town for easter, I'm camping out in the garage!!!:D:D

    Goals are...

finish wiring and install the tailights
install and wire the fuel sender
    install s**** pedal and linkage
make some pedal/column/shifter floor tins and toeboard supports
    install the rumble lid/latch
finish my seat setup and cover it
    maybe install the windshield/top

    and....

...since I went to the DMV this morning and got my plates and reggie, fire this beast up and rip around the block a few times!

    Hey Andy

Wow, I really like the wood! Whatever you did, it has a nice aged look. The contrast between the black and the wood is amazing, I would have never though, very nice. I hope you get your tasks finished and get to take a few laps. I agree, more pic's please.

Another reason to move to NC. Nobody registers old cars hahaha!!! Well we're supposed to but it seems like there's no rush. I got pulled over in the Merc last night for tail lights and all he said was...."Nice Car, you tail lights are pretty hard to see". I said I should put some LED's in there huh? He said, "yeah that might work!....have a nice night!!!"

Looking great!!!! I had no idea you have a kid. Cool!

Yeah, no kidding. Matt's busy shelling out 100's of dollars in taxes, fees, and jumping through a set of progressively smaller hoops to get his T on the road in PA. Here in NY I just transferred the plates from my van to the roadster. Cost me $10 and they're good for another year yet.:)

Don't get me wrong, the DMV down here can be a night mare way more so then NY I think. There are a bunch of hoops to jump through if you are registering a out of state car and down here the property taxes are so low that they try to make up for it by charging a property tax each year on your car. That's ****s!!!!!

Which is why I think the cops are so cool down here towards people that have not registered their old Hot Rod. :D:D:D Some guys do other don't. I will there is just no rush!!!!

Yes sir!:p Tonight I fit the throttle pedal, an old '32 pickup unit that I modified a bit to run inside the firewall. Set it up with dual return springs. Works pretty slick, needs some paint though...

    Also mounted the VR...

    ...and the starter solenoid.

And finally, installed a fuel level sender in the T tank!
