Floors are done, I just need to bolt them down. Which will require drilling new holes in the ledge that the boards sit on. I don't know if Canadian cars were different or what, but these repop floorboards from Mac's don't line up AT ALL! I mean some of them are off by almost two inches!

Man, it's almost 85* here today! Last friday it didn't get above 30*. I guess we don't get spring anymore...:D

Thanks fellas, I mean it. I just spent all day doing piddly little stuff on it. Ran all the battery cables, finished up the seat frame, changed the rad top hoses, ran some wiring, etc... My neighbors are all outside today because of the hot weather. I've never seen so many dirty looks in one afternoon! Haha, the one nice guy that lives next door came over and said it's lookin pretty good. Then he says "Boy these kit cars sure are a lot of work huh!" I choked on my beer a little bit over that one but I bit my tougue.:D

We'll see!! The list is dwindling...

    Finish the seat
Get the doors, dash, grille, and headlights back from you guys and installed
    Paint the decklid and install
Finish the wiring, I really can't do much more until the dash is back
Install the WS frame and top ***y
    License plate frame

    Holy cow!! That's it!!!:eek::eek:

Man, that is one Killa Ride. I just enjoyed reading this thread from the start.

I love the Dash.... an often overlooked part of the car. It's always good to see when someone takes the time to personalise that part of the car.

    Keep the post coming.

I got a couple small items taken care of...

First off, my steering wheel is installed! My good buddy Steve restored this fine '38 banjo wheel for me, I think it looks PERFECT! I can't wait to see it with the dash and gauges behind it!

This is in a few of the other pics, but I installed an old chrome oil filter. Got the reg mounted too... Gonna deep-six the chinsy fuel pressure regulator there as well. Doesn't work worth a ****.

WS frame and stanchions are on too... Man, I need to clean the garage!!

And just for the jolly fun of it...

Slapped the top on. Looks pretty damn good I think. I think I'm gonna chop it about 2.5"

Thanks Chris, if you're seriously interested in a wheel, PM me. I'll put you in touch with Steve. The grille is an old original deuce shell and insert reworked a bit to line up with the cowl.

I'm thinking a haircut is in order to about this height...
