We'll see, with my luck, it may not sell. Which is also fine by me. I do enjoy it very much and I think it's the first hot rod I've ever owned that my wife likes too.:D I have an Olds-rocket powered '27 T roadster build that's itching to get going though...

Andy, you let her keep the roadster and you build the 27 that way you still have it and you both can take cars on cruises and shows. Whats the plan for the 27? 60's wild rod?

Thanks Paul, it's been my pleasure. I think you'll like the next one!;)

I wish it were that simple, Shawn! We'll see how it works out, I'm not going to advertise it until it's COMPLETELY finished, and you know how long that can take... especially if you drive them as much as I do. There's ALWAYS something that needs tinkering with.

The '27 will be built in a mid 50's drag style, deuce frame, 4x2's, narrow slicks, square roll bar and all!

Damn it damn it damn it!!! I want to get on my '32 so ****ing bad I can taste it. I have a similar plan including the skinny slicks (6.50's or 7.10's like Tucks from Hurst), Hemi with old Edelbrock intake, square roll bar painted white much like a lot of other suspension pieces. Body is going to be baby blue and I am going to run 16" Ford wheels painted red with Moon disks over them. I may or may not channel it and it should be pretty nasty once I am done....if I ever get there. The catch 22 is that I'll probably have to get rid of that '33 to do so but if that's what needs to be done then so be it.

Back to the regular scheduled program of the baddest roadster in all the land!!!

Well, stop horse-trading and work the plan! You've got plenty of things to sell off to generate the funds.

I just finished re-attaching all the canvas to the top. It really should be replaced soon, starting to get a little ratty around the edges and is quite sunbleached. Maybe I'll give it a go over the winter. I really gotta give those trimmers credit though, it's a LOT of work!

Park a huge pile of hundred dollar bills in my wallet and you've got a deal! Oh yeah, if you're feeling generous, you can give me that rat rod model 40 you have laying around too. I know it's not as rusty as you were hoping for.:D I'll even deliver the roadster.

    96 gaping holes!

    :D

The decklid on the car has really been bugging me lately! First, it was in primer, second it was lumpy, and third it was set up as a rumble but I want a trunk!

So I pulled it off, torched and s****ed about a half gallon of bondo out of it and seperated the two halves. No rot to speak of but there were a few BIG dents that someone had filled with plastic at some point. I straightened the skin out and stabbed it full of 3" round-top old timey louvers. Added a pair of swap meet find $10 shoebox decklid hinges. Stuck it all back together and squirted it. Then a BIG fat moth landed right in my fresh paint, crawled around a bit and died. What a ****head...

    Still gotta install the latch/handle.
