Thanks dude, I really appreciate it. Yea, I wanted it to be simple and period looking, but also sturdy enough to drive anywhere at anytime without any worries. I think I succeeded in both regards. If you think this is *****ific, wait till you see this rolling ch***is all ***embled, you're gonna piss ecto cooler all over your underoos. Hahaha! Yea, Chris has got a bangin' little roadster project too, not doubt! The dude's got it made.

    Thanks, Should fit the bill.

    Looks great!
did you use folded C-channel for the back of the frame?
if so, did you make it yourself?

Thanks dudes, These pics are kinda bad huh... I got a new second-hand digital camera and I think it's set on some weird setting or something. Yes winter surely does **** the dogs ********, I'm doing my best to plod right through it without giving it the satisfaction of knowing it's ****ing the life right out of me.

Yeah, it's folded C channel, I traded kwmpa a big sheet of 1/8" flat stock for it ages ago. I remember I helped him get the chunks of it, but I can't remember where we got it, haha!

Coming from you, that's a compliment and a half!;) Thanks Kev!

I should have my other head back from the machinist soon, still have some polishing to do on the intake, ***emble the front brakes, hook up the e-brake ***y, Ubolts, and a million other little things. I was also going to have the old 32 V8 radiator shortened recored this week, but I had some "unexpected trouble" at my rental property that included new electrical service, a new breaker box, wiring, a 3 day hotel stay for my tenants, etc... that set me back more than a little bit here. I have a torch and know how to solder, I might have to buy a core and try doing it myself. I'll keep you posted...

    Cheers, guys, Thanks!

I've been making progress, but no pics as I'm gunning to have the complete rolling ch***is finished before I snap any more. It'll be much more dramatic that way.:p

    Over the weekend I:

shortened and installed the driveshaft and speedo gear ***y
    ***embled the front brakes
    fabbed and designed a complete e-brake system/equalizer
finihed plumbing all the brake lines
finished up the 97 carb rebuilds with new emulsion tubes
rebent the shift lever into a curvy S shape
installed new rear wheel bearings and seals
filled the rear axle and trans with fresh gear oil
...and last but not least, fabbed up some rear shock mounts.

Whew!!! I'm beat and my sonofa*****in' back hurts!

I rebuilt this engine about two years ago. It's been mothballed ever since, doing time under my bench at 3 different locations now. As of today, it finally runs. Holy cow does it ever sound good! I'm going to go celebrate with a few cold ones.

Hey thanks guys, I'm really tickled with the engine. It sounds even better than I imagined it could have. It idles well and revs quickly, I just can't wait to see how it pulls this little buggy down the road!

Kevin's still plugging away at the body/paint, he's been working at it in his spare time (which he doesn't have much of). I really can't thank you enough buddy!

I just have to replace some hardware/springs on the clutch and brake linkage and hang exhaust and the rolling ch***is is DONE!:D:D:D
