Mid 60's Checker Cab, lowered, molded in skirts, front roll pan, and a 58 Dual Ghia style grille. Now there is a cab I would enjoy riding in Johnny Angel
I got nothing this week but as always I will keep an eye on this thread because there is some great talent on here.
Lookin good guys. Tingler I always look forward to seeing your new stuff. Love it. Ive been messin around with my brush a little this week. Not much to add though.
Wild 47, nice blend on the flames! Had some time to kill today so I did up a horn ****on for my car out of a bullet trailer light lens.
1925 Dodge Bros. Used to look like this.... Messed around with the pic in a free photo editing program called The Gimp. It's just like photoshop, but costs $600 less... Not by me but thought I would share them with you all. Both are based on my Olds -- the first one is by my friend and drummer in my band Kevin Kunce (I will post some of his skateboard paintings when I get some pics) the second was done for me by The Pizz at the Calgary Tattoo Convention earlier this month.
All right - I couldn't sit on the sidelines anymore. I was going to post an illustration I've been working on, but rather than rush it, it's just going to have to wait. Instead, I threw this "Tingler-esque" sketch together tonight to get my creative bugs out and keep the thread goin. Nice stuff Burny.
This summer I haven't been able to snap any photos, til last night... Totally cool '31 roadster I spied at the local show.
Thats really cool. It took me a while to see the girl over his shoulder and the ra**** on the grill. hahaha. I dig it.
You should get rid of that immediately, it will curse your house!!!! I'll send you my address and I'll get rid of it for you!!!
some panels made in a paneljam at last weekends pinstripe workshop over in Croydon, UK check out the report on the workshop over on drcreview.com
Thanks Tingler - If I get some time, I might throw in some color to make the details stand out. Haha - if I get some time ...
Been kinda too busy to get much new stuff done so here's some rough stuff, old and new. They're mostly quick sketches as inspiration for larger projects. this is one of my favorite So Cal cars I saw it at a couple Blessing of the Cars gatherings in Glendale. I don't know who owns or built it but it's got a bad at***ude. Flat black, big nasty weld beads, purposeful interior... 40 second Woody Wingin' it! ...and if those Frankensteins aren't creepy enough for you,... The only way I've figured out how tho make a Mustang II look even half way cool.
Don't get me wrong. I was saying that its nice to discover details. It wasn't a cut on things "standing out". Its a cool drawing.
This is one done last year. Think I may go back and do a little correcting on some of its parts. But anyway here it is. Yep still on that same color combo, oh well. Good looking Art everyone. Also I have always been a fan of the multi colored pinstriping. Nice stuff! BR
