hmmm I valued peoples items for estate sales and some familys garage / clean out sales for a living a while back.. I found that almost all people will collect small items like ticket stubs ,or small items like key chains or trinkets -matchbooks-pamphlets...saved for a lifetime ... most time these type of items would be thrown out by the family or marked at such a low price"by the box" at a sale ... "****" gone in an instant.. what I discovered is these "smalls"can bring considerly more money than the "family" china or silver flatware or old furniture....world fair items , crackerjack prizes , gumball machine chotzkies.ticket stubs from music concerts ,sporting events , broadway show programs ... some with obscure autographs ..typicly bring more money and all could be carried in a lunchsack when sold. and as you have shown here older items have beauty that is hard to find in our modern world. so do not poo poo collecting items of a smaller scale ... in the right hands it will work out right. items found while doing this . Elvis tickets his last show autographed college football program from the 30's both teams and coaches 50's broadway show program signed by the entire cast REAL signed picture JOHNNY CARSON ,JACK BENNY,GEORGE BURNS(found at the bottom of a underwear drawer) 75 tin early crackerjack prizes (in a sewing machine mixed with thread and attachments) OH YES I HAVE WAY MORE OF EVERYTHING THAN I NEED ...HOPEFULLY THE RIGHT PEOPLE WILL GO THROUGH MY STUFF AND IT WILL GO TO SOMEONE ELSE WHEN I P*** ON
Let's see:Vintage cars,Antique Radios,vintage cameras,vintage baseball cards,Vintage Colts and Brownings...I think I've got a sickness.
This is the only Indy memorabilia I have. My wife sure would be happier if I only collected small stuff like this though. Don't know what Jack actually got to see with these p***es, but I thought they were kinda neat and picked them up cheap. .
I am amazed at the complexity of printing on some of these, such great designs, lot of effort for basically throw away items. Love them, thanks for posting this Ryan.
So then the collection is P***ion Fruit? Ryan, that is a pretty cool design study you have right there. Nice, thanks for sharing.
