Hot Rods Tie rod end sleeve adapter(s)

Anyone know of a source for, knowledge of, a TAPERED SLEEVE ADAPTER that will allow a GM tie rod end (ES323) in a steering arm that's been reamed to a FORD (ES416) taper? The Ford taper is a larger diameter...though I think the taper is the same, just larger. The GM piece fits fine insofar as taper, but the larger diameter won't allow for proper tightening in the "eye." AND a spacer under the nut isn't a possibility.....the body of the tie rod end scrubs on the opening. I thought I remembered an adapter from years gone by....possibly old age and diminished memory again..........THANKS
