I'm changing my steering arms to Pete and Jakes on my Model a, right now I'm using drilled steering arms with rod ends and I want to use regular tie rod ends. What year etc. would I need. I work at O'Reillys so I would buy through them.

Possibly need to replace the tie rod; unless the wall thickness of the tubing is adequate to drill & tap to 11/16 to fit the Ford tie rod ends.

If you have the typical 5/8 rod ends; at one time I remember seeing someone selling "Ford sized" tie rod ends with 5/8-18 threads. No idea if anything like that still exists.

Speedway sells rod and ends in kit form too
    in a few common lengths
I usually buy them long and cut and tap to fit
    cheaper than custom length

your steering arms need a tapered hole to work with the automotive tie rod ends.
