tig welding school

    IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT GOING TO LINCOLN ELECTRICS MOTORSPORT TIG SCHOOL. HAS ANYONE BEEN THROUGH THIS COURSE? WHAT DID YOU THINK OF IT? HAS ANYONE BEEN TO ANOTHER SIMILAR SCHOOL. I WELD ALOT OF 4130 AND WANT TO GET BETTER. ID LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE. :cool: MANY TX.

    I've not been to Lincoln's school, but my old instructor had. He said they had one of the best programs in the counrty - this was probably 15 years ago.

    I've yet to hear anything bad about Lincoln's welding program.

    I teach Welding and Fab at a school here in KY. I use Lincoln equipment exclusively, even though I also love Miller. I had a chance this summer to tour their manufacturing facility and their school. The school is at the factory. They have 99 welding stations and the best equipment. The instructors are top notch. The advanced cl***es like the one you are talking about may not be at that same spot, but I can promise it will be great. :)

    tx for the input! im signed up for the feb cl***. ill report afterwords. i was impressed with what i saw of them at oshkosh last summer. have fun.
