Hot Rods Tilt column with traditional look

    I really like the look of the traditional steering box and tube going thru the firewall. I do NOT like the fact that at the operators end you are pretty much stuck with what angle you have. would anyone be kind enough to post some photos of some that have been modified or how you did yours? I do not want a 'street-roddy' looking unit (Ididit, GM, etc)
    could something like this RZR unit work? I used the shit out of mine, and I see no reason why it would not, just change the tube lengths accordingly.

    I think tilt column and traditional is an oxymoron...

    One option is to do like some of the early 80's mini trucks(I think it was Mazda), it had an adjustable column. The pivot was at the fire wall (you'd need a universal there) and a knob under the dash where you could raise or lower the column. Thta's probably the cleanest way without getting into a bulky looking tilt.

    you can get the plain hot rod column from speedway or other vendors and set it on the angle and drop you want then just add the joints you need to hook it up.
