I was told that a 88 to 90 tilt steering column out of a ford van would fit in my 55 customline. Has anyone done the swap with the van column and if so is it from the Aerostar or the E150. I would be looking for a floor shift. Keyless column if available.

I'll be watching this as I would like a tilt column in my 56 too.

I used a 1971 Chevy full size van tilt column in my 55 Ford. (No key in column ,Junk yard $40.)
    1970-1986 will work.
My 54 Business coupe has a IDIDIT column.
