Hey John, still got the photo of the real g****vine taken at night with a real cute chick using the carphone as my desktop. The clone is an amazing tribute to Larry, and couldn't be in better hands.

  7. Was talking with Randy over breakfast in Mar when we were at the Drag Racers Reunion in Eugene OR area. He told me of the sale of Heartless, I was sad to hear/see her leave but he ***ured me that it was going to be in good hands and I believe that and he was anxious to get back to work on the Deuce. I have fond memories of the orig Heartless as the night before I left for Ft Ord CA for my invite to the U S ARMY, I parked my 60 Impala at Dubs drive in and we took a short cruise into Eugene and back. Never in my wildest thoughts would I have believed that car would be used as fill under the I 5 bridge. Oh Well, IT STILL LIVES!! Take good care of her as I know you will!!

  8. A couple of pics from last Aug at the KLAN Racing Team get together at Little Fall Creek OR.

Well its update time....the engine was tired...lots of miles! so I am getting a fresh rebuilt from Poverty Flats, all the parts will be rechromed, and the engine painted pearl white! the firewall has some cracks that will be fixed and repainted, while the engines out it will get a front end rebuild! Can't wait till its all done!

Looking good John....I'd like to suggest...as long as the hood is off anyway, put some scallops on the underside to match the outside...always thought I'd get that done but didn't....
as for the knobs...I called Bob at Graffiti Alley where I got them years ago and he said they had come from "King of Dice" in VA....I looked them up and didn't see any purple ones...you might give them a call at 804-758-0776 and ask them, maybe they still have a few left...???
    Randy

Hey, hold on...Bob just called me back and said that they are in the Moon catalog....
so like Ralph Cramden used to say..."Bam, right to the moon Alice..."
    right in your neighborhood, John...
