  1. IMG_3236.jpeg IMG_3229.jpg IMG_3230.jpg IMG_3234.jpg So it's been six years since the road trip in a '59 Catalina convertible from Berthoud, CO to Edmonton, AB..... and apparently it's time to test my luck again.

This time, I just need to get the car from Patterson, NY to Mississauga, ON. It's around 460 miles........ what could possibly go wrong. :/
It looks like I'll be doing the drive on the weekend of October 12th. Just need to get it to the terminal in Mississauga to ship west while I head back to St. Louis.
If anyone is along the route that could provide some help if needed, that would be appreciated!
For anyone wondering, it's a '61 Impala bubbletop with a 409 4 speed. Adventures keep you young......

    Really nice 61!!
Here’s a map of possible routes to let those along the way know your direction. Good luck.

Covered that area on the Southern route many, many times.
Nothing worth mentioning all is smooth and normal.

  8. So in a moment of sanity, I had the car shipped to St. Louis. They picked it up Sunday night (October 13th) and had it here Monday night (October 14th). The car was probably going to end up back in the states anyway, so it just made sense. I don’t think I could have driven there and back (26 hours) and stayed a night in a hotel plus incidentals for what the shipping cost me.
